The characteristics of in-home long-term care workers and the caring relationship in the perspective of citizenship

Abstract
This research brings up two big topics. The first one refers to the spot of long-term service which is composed by what is labor care and investigates its characteristics. The other one is the service care of triangular main agents - users, workers and providers - and their care relation, analyzing how is the power distribution on the citizenship point of view. In particular, the demand for the majority of home care service takes place in a private space when is related to caring. The scope of this research points out the characteristics of caring like desire and feelings towards the other person which carries out a sensitive observation and love. Thus, it provides a re-evaluation concerned to the basic value of labor care. Moreover, it has confirmed that the main care of the triangular agents, the labor care is relatively vulnerable. Therefore, the result of this research shows that whenever a place makes a good care relation, it provides a good service; as well as a good care relation needs users, workers and providers working through mutual respect and trust to guarantee citizenship.
